The Laboratory of Atmospheric Pollution and Environmental Physics (AirLab) belongs to the Mineral Resources Engineering Department, Faculty Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. The aim of AirLab is: To set the theoretical and laboratory foundations necessary for the most efficient way of teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate courses which are related to the lab’s scientific areas of interest. To promote the applied research, develop and simultaneously apply the scientific knowledge for the needs of society. To create incentives for students to engage in scientific research and offer employment prospects to graduates. To transfer the technical know-how, provide consulting services, disseminate the information and knowledge to the public, institutions, private and public enterprises in the field of environmental and energy management and technology.
